We partnered with Facing Homelessness to deliver a successful online fundraising event for their annual BLOCK Party.
As Facing Homelessness was preparing for their annual BLOCK Party fundraiser when they realized their team was reaching max capacity and called in Marketing Mission to assist them. It was their first online fundraiser and they were struggling with the transition to the digital platform.
Their campaign goal was to create a successful online fundraising event with an effective design strategy. They not only wanted to meet their fundraising goal but also create a space where their community could come together during the pandemic and connect with one another.
In order to produce a compelling campaign for their event, we created a multitude of deliverables in line with their brand and event identity. We constructed multiple Canva templates as well as slides to be used throughout the event itself. Prior to the event, we made Instagram reels, cover photos promoting the event, and Instagram templates to spark interest in the BLOCK Party.
The BLOCK Party was an incredible success. Not only did it provide a space for the supporters and community of Facing Homelessness to gather and share ideas, but it also surpassed the original fundraising goal. Facing Homelessness wanted to raise $120,000 and they raised $150,563 from over 370 supporters.
